More information is available on request but, honestly, this character is mostly meant to be an excuse to play some kinks I don't get to play on a lot of my other characters that I just couldn't find a character from a series somewhere that fit how I wanted, so I made my own! Because of that, nearly all of this information is pretty malleable to fit a meme or PSL, I just didn't want to have to re-explain what he's like on every meme I posted in, or leave people hanging since he's an OC.

Background:

Ereuvir Valbanise is the ruler of his world's Underworld, a realm of eternal night, full of a serene and otherworldly sort of beauty, but also a place where individuals are tormented for the torment they have inflicted on others. Ereuvir is not regarded as being evil in his own plane, as he's part of a natural dichotomy with his sister, who presides over the kind, beautiful souls of the world. He is viewed as an arbiter of justice whereas she is considered to be the epitome of mercy, moreso than good and evil.

However, despite this, the Underworld is cruel and merciless and Ereuvir is often the same. He has a role to play in punishing those who need to be punished and he enjoys his job, to the point where he will often go personally torment people he finds interesting with a particular relish. He is often haughty, cold and calculating, a result of having absolute dominion in his own domain and rarely venturing out of it.

Ereuvir enjoys games, often to the point of allowing the punished to leave if they win challenges stacked against them, and will easily allow himself to be "ensnared" in other people's machinations, if they serve him or if he finds them a worthy opponent. He's fully capable of playing at softness or humility if there's a game afoot and he's a surprisingly gracious loser if anyone ever does get the upper hand, more delighted to have found a worthy opponent than upset about the consequences of his loss.


Powers/Weaknesses:

In a scenario where Ereuvir is in his world's Underworld, he has absolute control over everything. He's invulnerable to physical damage and cannot actually be restrained. However, he is quite literally a man of his word, so wordplay and promises can entangle and bind him in his domain.

Outside of his domain, he is strong and skilled in both combat and manipulation to a superhuman level, but most of his "powers" come from the domain itself. He's likely to outclass a human unless he's been completely depowered, but he's unlikely to stand up to someone who has supernatural abilities of their own without a bit of cleverness. He can, however, outright lie or go back on his word, if he wants to.

In addition, Ereuvir can, if the other player wishes, read the dark deeds and/or desires of others. If he does this, he has no issues at all with meting out whatever he feels appropriate punishments are, including a large number of fairly nasty, personal things.


About My Playstyle/IRL Prefs:

• I am a medium-speed tagger at an average of a tag a day, less usually on weekends.


• I prefer a partner who is also slow-but-steady. I have a limited amount of time to play and I don't want to spend it re-reading a thread I haven't seen in a week or two to try to remember what's going on.


• That said, life happens! If something has kept you away, I'm VERY understanding and would rather pause a few weeks or a month on a thread and pick it back up than start something new, or lose a good partner just because they got busy.


• Ereuvir is kind of an asshole. I try not to be. :) If there's something you want to discuss or a problem you're having, I'm all about communication and trying to figure it out. That includes if I go somewhere in a thread you don't want to go or give you something you don't know how to work with. Let's work it out.


• I tend to play present tense even when I don't mean to.


• I don't have any preferences for LA/anime/drawn/shitty icons/no icons, etc.


• I have no preference for the gender of characters or players and have no issue with xeno (a personal favorite of mine, actually), futa or furries.


• I will play with younger characters for most scenarios, including sexual ones. However, I don't really want to look at depictions of any kind of very young characters while I'm doing it. This includes both actors who are now 18+ but were not at the time of their icons and younger looking anime characters, regardless of their canon age. Words on a screen between consenting adults is one thing, but the visuals squick me real hard.


• Additionally, I expect all of my RP partners to be 18+ behind their characters.
